The performers will be announced during May, after the publication of the results of the 1st round of the competition.

Semjen Yakimov was born in 2006. He has been playing the piano since the age of two, while he also composes, improvises and plays the organ. He has been a student at the Grammar School and Music School of the City of Prague since 2018. He is the holder of a number of first prizes from national and international piano competitions: the Prague Conservatory’s Young Piano competition, Beethoven’s Teplice, Prague Junior Note, Young Pianists Play Steinways (Prague) and Virtuosi per musica di pianoforte (Ústí nad Labem). He has also received a prize for his performance of W. A. Mozart’s Viennese Sonatina in C major. He holds the 3rd prize from the 2021 Jakub Jan Ryba composition competition and is the absolute winner of the 2022 Music Olympics. He is the author of a number of pieces for piano, chamber ensembles, theatre performances and for the film “Lorik”.

Jamil Aliaga Sadizade was born in Baku in 2008. He has been studying the piano since the age of six. He has participated in approximately twenty piano competitions in various countries (Estonia, Bulgaria, Spain, Israel, the UAE, Russia, Italy, Georgia, etc.) since 2015, where he received the laureate’s title. In January 2018, he performed a solo concert with the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic and in May of the same year he participated at a concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Kara Karajev, which was organized by UNESCO in Paris. He participated at the fifth Melody of the Generations international music competition, which was held in Moscow in May 2017. He performed Beethoven’s Piano Concerto no. 1 there with the Presidential Orchestra of the Russian Federation.

The fourteen-year-old pianist, Elias Keller, has been studying the piano since he was six. He is currently a student at the Mozarteum in Salzburg under Professor Cordelia Höfer-Teutsch. He holds a number of prizes from national and international music competitions. In 2021, he received the title of the London Young Musician of the Year, while he also won the piano category at the Golden Note competition in Austria, the finale of which was broadcast by public television. He has a significant amount of experience as a soloist, as well as chamber ensemble and orchestra playing. He has completed concert tours to Austria, Germany, Spain, Japan, the USA, Italy and Slovenia. He regularly attends master classes given by excellent teachers and pianists.

Greta Mandler has been playing the piano since the age of three and the flute since the age of six. She was the youngest ever laureate at the Jugend musiziert competition, when she was awarded the Sponsor’s Prize for Outstanding Success at the age of ten. In the following years, she has gone on to receive numerous awards for the flute and the piano in the same competition at the regional, national and federal levels in both the solo and group categories. Last year, she received the 1st federal prize in the Jugend musiziert competition in the solo flute category, as well as the 1st prize at the Karel Kunc Competition in Bad Dürkheim and the Music Award for Young Talents with her sister Clara. She has been the holder of a scholarship from the German Foundation for Musical Life and a member of the Baden-Württemberg State Youth Orchestra since 2021.
