Dvořák Prague Festival 2025: Tickets Now on Sale!

The 18th edition of the Dvořák Prague Festival brings back its signature concert series, including World Orchestras and Dvořák Collection, along with a brand-new addition—No Tie (Bez kravaty). The festival opens on 5 September with Dvořák’s Cello Concerto performed by Gautier Capuçon, followed by his iconic New World Symphony, conducted by Alain Altinoglu with the Frankfurt Radio Symphony.
This year’s major orchestras include the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden under Daniele Gatti and the Orchestre National de France, which will close the festival on 23 September with Cristian Măcelaru. Sir András Schiff will lead the Chamber Orchestra of Europe from the piano, while Leonidas Kavakos will take on both solo and conducting roles with the Czech Philharmonic.
A Celebration of Song
Curator Kateřina Kněžíková will explore Dvořák’s song cycles in a four-concert series, inviting musical guests and pairing them with works by other composers.
Introducing No Tie
This new festival series brings a fresh, lighthearted approach to classical music—blending humor, genre diversity, and a relaxed atmosphere. Concerts will take place not only in Dvořák Hall at the Rudolfinum but also in new venues such as Nová Spirála at the Výstaviště exhibition grounds and Divadlo X10.
Relaxed Concerts & Family Fun
Casual evening performances at Artium Bořislavka start at 6 PM, while Dvořák Prague’s Family Day—filled with music and creative activities—will take place on Saturday, 6 September, from 2 PM at HAMU.
